In May of 2008, James Moody was honored to attend the Memorial Day event in Lenoir. It was here he recieved from both, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Americanl Legion, a scholarship and plaque for his patriotism. Veteran Ed Boldin who present the awards to James said that "...his letter has inspired many veterans." |
